Marine Resource Scientist III - Real-Time Passive Acoustic Program Lead<https://mainebhr.hire.trakstar.com/jobs/fk0p6gq/> This position will be leading the design and implementation of a real-time passive acoustic program focused on the detection of the endangered North Atlantic right whale in the Gulf of Maine. The work will directly support the development of monitoring and management programs and strategies for Maine's fixed-gear fisheries to reduce the risk of entanglement for right whales. Work will also be done in conjunction with DMR's aerial and vessel-based right whale survey programs.
