Dear MARMAM Community,

The co-authors of this paper and I are pleased to share our new open-access
publication in Marine Mammal Science, a short note entitled "Acoustic
Behavior of Franciscana Dolphins (*Pontoporia blainvillei*) Around a
Fishing Net During a Bycatch Event." The study reveals interesting insights
into the behavior of this species, considered the most endangered dolphin
in the Western South Atlantic, in a bycatch situation.
