Dear MARMAM community,

The Natural Resources Laboratory is currently inviting research proposals
and collaborative opportunities from scientists, research groups, and
graduate students working on marine mammal ecology, specifically those
interested in utilizing fatty acid analysis for trophic ecology, diet
composition, and foraging dynamics.

Our laboratory is equipped with complete analytical infrastructure and
possesses extensive technical expertise in processing, quantifying, and
interpreting lipid and fatty acid signatures from biological matrices
(e.g., muscle, skin, blubber biopsies and other tissues).

We are seeking to join ongoing research projects or help develop new
initiatives where quantitative fatty acid profiling can add significant
ecological insight. If you have an active project or a strong research
hypothesis and wish to explore collaboration, please reach out with a brief
project summary (including study species, primary research questions, and
details on available samples).

We look forward to hearing your ideas and establishing productive research
partnerships across the community.

Sincerely,

Emilia D'Amado
