Dear colleagues,

We are delighted to share that our new paper has been published in Animal
Behaviour.

Methion, S. & Diaz Lopez, B. (2026). Reproductive state shapes female social
network position in bottlenose dolphins. Animal Behaviour, 242, 123745.

In this study, we used long-term photo-identification data to investigate
how reproductive state influences female social network position in common
bottlenose dolphins. We found that cycling, pregnant, and lactating females
occupy different positions within the social network, while maintaining
stable female-biased association patterns across reproductive states.
