CPANtesters has a "NA" report for 5.10.0
<http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/f2b29f50-52aa-11e4-8c57-8e6f0541cd2f>.
I am tempted to ignore the problem, but wanted to alert the list, in
case it's more serious than I think.
The problems seems to be a failure to load the required version of
Scalar::Util and a couple of other modules (all core). I believe the
versions required are properly specified, and there must be something
wrong with the test environment. Note that I *do* specify core modules,
not just because of the version number requirements, but because some
distros omit core modules from their versions of Perl -- they shouldn't
do that, but they do, and I have to work around it.
5.10.0 is an obscure Perl version. perlbrew, for example, only
provides 5.10.1. But I support 5.10.0 because it was the latest Perl
when Marpa first came out, and I've never removed support. There are
5.10.0 users out there, and some are actually Marpa::R2 users.
I welcome comments from those informed on this topic, and also from
those with concerns,
jeffrey
