To expand: The distro ships with scripts/synopsis.pl. So, that app allows end users to run the code without ever having to look at the grammar, i.e. the grammar is invisible.
The module can then be seen as a wrapper around something 'which just works'. We know it's the grammar, but casual users need not care. And that's why I'm hopeful it [*] will be popular.
