Data updates

New species:
- 4 new 2X species: Cat, Tree shrew, Hedgehog and Guinea Pig
New assemblies and genebuilds:
- New Cow assembly and genebuild (Bos taurus)
- Saccharomyces cerevisiae new import to include the 2-micron plasmid.
New date:
- Updates to Human and Mouse databases: patched gene set and added
Immunoglobulin/T-cell receptor gene segments
Variation data:
- New Human variation database with SNPs from Celera reads
- New Rat variation database with SNPs from the STAR project sequencing
reads from the STAR project.
- New Mouse variation database
Affy mapping:
- Homo sapiens, Danio rerio, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Bos taurus
updated
Xrefs:
- Cow, Yeast, Human, Mouse, Rat, Worm and Zebrafish updated
Others:
- Stable ID mapping was carried out for Cow, Human and Mouse and
various fixes were made to the archive.
- New Vega Mouse (Mus musculus)
- cDNA Updates (Homo sapiens, Mus musculus)
- New ZFIN data (Danio rerio)
- Fixes to Fugu data (Takifugu rubripes)

- A faster ContigView
- New Table view for data from the tracks in contigview
- Additional search option to search the EBI site
- Entensions to DAS server capabilities.
- Conservation (GERP) score plots on contigview
- Mart 0.5 integrated into the Ensembl website

- There are minor API and schema changes to the core, functional
