You could POST the request instead of GET:ing it. Or does Mart handle GETs and POSTs differently?
As I understand it, yes. I think I will simply set an arbitrary cutoff, above which the results get displayed in some kind of simplified, but nonstandard form, below which the GET request is used to produce a nice BioMart query result. Cheers, David.
