Same way as Chris intends urgently to keep supporting Blur and the Third
Way Butchers from London?

Except Dave has an international organization that's trying to build itself
a position in which the gaps between propaganda, agitation and direct
action shrink and eventually disappear. Chris would obviously have us
contribute nothing to any debate on policy if we've not actually got our
noses stuck up the barrel of a Serbian tank.

But I've got news for him. Clinton's nose isn't stuck up a Serbian tank
either, and Chris hasn't breathed a word of criticism of him or Blair for
this. It's just that *their* international organization is already in place
and has frequently demonstrated its clout by butchering opponents of
imperialist domination.

It would be nice if Chris just for once remembered that those with wealth
and state power find it easier to organize and pump their message to a mass
audience, let alone incinerate their enemies. Then he might stop hiding
behind the jackboots and jeering at those who lack wealth and state power.
It's possible to organize against state terrorism and capitalist
exploitation. Dave does this. Chris doesn't.

Shallow, snivelling sarcasm doesn't bring socialism one inch closer.

Cheers,

Hugh
