Hi Kim...
Well it is a question of calling and talking and doing! The PRD is heavily
into popular front politics and I believe you yourself send the list where
they call for intervention by NATO or any internal "progressive" opposition.
A classical stage theory of revolution of first the "democratic" revolution
and then? Where have we heard that before and how historically leaders of
this school time and again rtied the workers to this shit and led them to
the slaughter house. Now if that ain't replacing generals with other
generals I will eat your hat. Over and above this nobody question the
sometimes heroic actions of some of the trade unuion militants in the face
of the junta. But, that don't make there politics right.

If you want I can send a long article on the twists and turns of the
PRD and where there politics lead. In fact just from and article series from
Australian Spartacist whom you think sectarian nuts.

But this does not change our oopposition to popular front politics because
history has taught us where all this stuff leads time and again. This goes
for Rob's bleating about the horrors. The point is to construct a vanguard
which will not take the Indochinese workers and peasants into defeat after
defeat after defeat. And new "horrors" which can only be the case and
results of the politics that these people represent.

It ain't good enough to talk about saving lives because all is lost anyway
this time around according to Rob. The reason the situation looks the way it
does today is just because of the historical betrayals of just the Social
democracy and Stalinism.

The point is not to do a rehash of this stuff once again. But to change it.

Warm regards
bob Malecki
