My advice to Fred and to Manuel is to aspire to a tone of detached scorn/amused indifference when operating in the polemical arena. It worked well for Joe Hansen and it is one of the only things I learned in the SWP that I have tried to retain. Scenery chewing and breast beating is not advised, especially in a confined space like this.
