There seems to be no anchor of principles they can't drag far over any lines in which they've traditionally operated. The longer I've watched a lot of these organizations, the more I'm convinced that they are, in part, seeking a unique position--a novel shade of red to paint the racing stripe on their specific product. And sometimes, they make outrageous assertions to see who might be willing (or unwilling) to go along with them.
