If you've ever read Mike Gonzalez's idiotic articles on Cuba for the British SWP, you'll note that Carmelo Mesa-Lago is frequently cited. But I doubt that he has ever cited this: “In Cuba, they are concerned about people becoming rich.” Those 9 words say more about the Cuban economy than the million words written by Mike Gonzalez and Sam Farber combined.
