A useful article but it omits an important aspect of this history, namely Israel's support for Turkey's own brand of holocaust denial. In 2001, Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres described the Armenian Genocide as "meaningless." This can be explained by Israel's economic ties with Turkey at the time, plus the need to make the Judeocide appear as a singular event. This has been changing recently because of Erdogan's support for Gaza.
