dictator supporting another. Maybe Assad could agree to resign, and
then he could share in the prize.

I actually think that the idea of a Nobel Peace Prize for Putin makes perfect sense. It would be consistent with such past winners: Theodore Roosevelt (1906), Woodrow Wilson (1919), George Marshall (1953), Henry Kissinger (1973), Menachem Begin (1978), Elie Wiesel (1986), Yitzhak Rabin/Shimon Peres (1994), and especially Barack Obama (2009).
