One more, because it came out yesterday:

Another participant in this upcoming trip is Ajamu Baraka, who has written
several columns characterizing critics of "anti-imperialist" regimes as
racist.
He repeats the charge in his new column, and takes the widely acknowledged
truth of differential responses to various massacres, and soils the
argument with this:

"And in that sense, while the victims of the violence in Paris may have
been innocent, France was not. French crimes against Arabs, Muslims and
Africans are ever-present in the historical memory and discourse of many
members of those populations living in France. Those memories, the systemic
discrimination experienced by many Muslims and the collaboration of French
authorities with the U.S. and others that gave aid and logistical support
to extremist elements in Syria and turned their backs while their citizens
traveled to Syria to topple President Assad, became the toxic mix that
resulted in the blowback on November 13."

As long as he's race-baiting, I wonder if he has a clue how deeply Arab
victims of Assad (and Qaddafi etc. etc.) resent being told they're
imperialist stooges by Westerners of any race?
