On March 27, the same day Francisco 'Paquito' Rodriguez went public with his Open Letter to Raul Castro, Granma newspaper—published under the editorial guidance of the PCC's Central Committee as its official publication—responded to rumblings of discontent from the party's activist base with the following unsigned editorial.
