An article by Jeff Mackler, the leader of the Socialist Action sect and the individual who helped to recruit me to the SWP in 1967. It is one of the foulest articles within the "anti-imperialist" genre I have seen, with the audacity to put starving people in scare quotes in a reference to Darya. I doubt that a horse's ass like Mackler has ever bothered to read material out of his Baathist comfort zone but the Janine Di Giovanni article I posted earlier about Darya should indicate how venal Mackler's scare quotes are.
