Along with the tremendous statement condemning the allied US/Russian intervention in their country issued by 150 Syrian revolutionaries, that Andy sent to the list yesterday, I think this extraordinary statement by the Syrian Solidarity Campaign on the fall of the revolutionary centre Daraya a month ago is required reading, focusing in particular on the direct role played by US imperialism in engineering Assad's victory there, and also on the underhanded kind of sectarian cleansing taking place in Daraya and elsewhere as part of the ongoing new and gigantic Nakbah.
