Wolfe was a diehard conservative but his skewering of liberals and

p.s. I just found out that Wolfe wrote a book attacking Chomsky. Anyone
read it?

Chris Knight wrote a scholarly critique of Chomsky that provoked his defenders. He has written articles for The North Star along the same lines. Here's his review of Wolfe's book:
