Thousands and thousands of people marched and rallied in Dublin yesterday
(Ocotober 3) over the housing crisis in the south of Ireland. One of the
contentious issues raised during the preparations for the march was whether
the Labour Party should be allowed to be part of the campaign. Many working
class activists argue that there should be no place for the Labour Party in
such working class protests because Labour represents the other side in the
class struggle and imposed vicious austerity on the working class when it
was last in government.
