As far as I am concerned, this just reflects the phony war between Trump and CNN. It reminds me a lot of the feuds between professional wrestlers that is meant to boost ticket sales. In fact, Trump was very involved in professional wrestling spectacles, which like his reality TV show, play about the same role as gladiator combat in the latter days of the Roman Empire.
