A film that should be in every university and local library so people
can screen it before the presidential elections of November 2020. The
year 2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of when Debs was sent to
prison by the U.S. government for being against WWI. He was accused of
violating the Espionage Act. And it will be the 100th anniversary of
when Debs ran for the presidency from the Atlanta State Penitentiary
(the only candidate to ever do this) and garnered 1 million votes.
