A few days after orchestrating a coup d'état in Bolivia, General Williams Kaliman is no longer with the Bolivian military. He has fled to the United States, which paid him one million dollars. Other generals also received the same amount of cash. The police chiefs received $500,000 each. Everyone will now go to the U.S. for fear of trials within Bolivia and by international organizations. This is one reason that Bolivian media has not supported the coup. The corrupt people behind the coup will continue to flee to the United States.
