Hi everyone, Ralph Nader is considering a run for Chris Dodd's Senate seat in 2010. Mainly, the pressure seems to be coming from below, with the CT Green Party and other activists urging Nader to run, but Nader seems open to the idea. If you want to write to Nader urging him to run (which I think would be good), e-mail [email protected]. I think a Nader run in 2010 against Dodd would be a positive development for those interested in building a new left-wing party to challenge the Democrats and Republicans. It would help plant the seeds in others' minds about running against the Democrats in 2012 and beyond. If he doesn't run, then it's a wasted opportunity. Does anyone know any other prominent challenges that might happen in 2010?
