There was hope in the USAmerican people that a "representative of the oppressed groups of that country" (please note inverted commas, this time, are not quotes, but irony) would make sure US world domination was to be established by means other than had become usual. First and foremost, as regards the blood bill to be paid by the oppressed and poor in the heart of the Empire. This hope was, at most, an illusion, and at worst hypocrisy of the worst kind. But those who harbored it did not think it was. So it is the task of us the clear minded boys and girls who were not "duped" to turn the disappointment into revolutionary rage. If we don't, it may well turn into things too ghastly for me to mention them here, this early in the morning. In order to do so, we should not present ourselves as the clear minded geniuses who saw into Obama this that "you, gang of ignoramuses" did not see. On this, I think Gary is dead right. ________________________________________________ Send list submissions to: [email protected] Set your options at: http://lists.econ.utah.edu/mailman/options/marxism/archive%40mail-archive.com
