The NY Daily News has a blogger named Rabbi Yaakov Spivak (http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/flashpoint) who also has a talk show on 620 on the am dial. His views can best be described as warmed over Meier Kahane and utter racist shit. I listen to the show usually about 10 minutes until I either get too bored or angry to continue, and then switch back to WFAN, a sports talk station or WABC, another rightwing outlet. But last night it was truly fascinating. Spivak had an opening monologue about Haiti that I did not hear, but apparently a shred of mercy in that monologue was too much for his ultra-orthodox and ultra-Zionist listeners who began to phone in to say that better that the Haitians get killed than Jews. One nut said it was retribution for the role of Haitians in killing Yankel Rosenbaum during the Crown Heights disturbances in 1991. A puzzled Spivak asked what the Haitians had to do with Rosanbaum's murder. The listener said that the rioters were "all Caribbeans". After about 5 of these phone calls, he took a deep sigh and confessed that his listeners left him "depressed".
