I recall the earlier discussion(s), and hoped that it ended the extensive reinjection of this discussion as well. Of course, the list is like a watering hole where people are coming and going continually. So it's not realistic to think that a question such as this would ever be settled so as not to be revisited. What I find disconcerting is the utter wastefulness of time, energy and effort on a subject that seems to have absolutely no practical meaning for us today at all. Unless the proponents of nukes are suggesting that the Left should emblazen the call for nuclear power on our banners--and I don't think they are--this entire discussion has no more merit than sitting around a bar arguing over the existence of bigfoot. What pushes it beyond disconcerting to downright depressing is the fact that every morning the news presents a wave of pressing issues that could benefit from some of the thought and discussion spent here measuring the misshapen plaster casts of paw prints......
