Sure, Andrew. I didn't mean to imply that you were being gullible. Within education, the No-Dollar-Left-Behind was such a complete and total boondoggle that I can't imagine anyone wanting to stay in the biz could avoid admitting it. This excludes people with access to the gravy trains or aspirations to get such access. I never met any experienced bracero of the classroom at any level who thought it was anything better than deplorable. I find it utterly depressing to think that anyone over the age of 10 would ever want go into education thinking it is reducible to standardized testing or believing that the best ways to approach teaching come from outside the classroom.
