Manufacturing is less than 15% of GDP. We have coming up: the Alt-A resets, a crisis in commercial real estate, a ton of junk debt used for overpriced LBOs and mergers to be rolled over starting next year, an unsustainable Federal debt burden and a major crisis in many State budgets. Bernanke has to try to unwind all his trades which will be exciting. Not to mention massive unemployment (around 15-17% by any realistic measure), which will grow as the temporary census hires are released and States do some serious cutting of payrolls. I wouldn't party yet. --- On Thu, 4/1/10, brad bauerly <[email protected]> wrote: > From: brad bauerly <[email protected]> > Subject: [Marxism] US Manufacturing sector expansion > To: "Steve Palmer" <[email protected]> > Date: Thursday, April 1, 2010, 11:17 AM > ====================================================================== > Rule #1: YOU MUST clip all extraneous text when replying to > a message. > ====================================================================== > > > The US manufacturing sector expanded in March at its > fastest rate for six > years, a report has said.
