I said nothing about Mugabe or "homophobia." I didn't even think those
things. Louis cooked them up.
I didn't mention "Cuban politics," and don't see any relevance.
Louis goes way overboard to suggest I was "anxious" to "smear" anyone.
That is insulting.
I hadn't realized I was passing along "disinformation," and that
certainly was not my intention. Maybe Louis can show how Morales was not
in fact suggesting that hormonal imbalances from eating chicken had the
effect of diverting "real men" from their "real" sexual orientation.
If Morales did in fact make the insinuations about male homosexual
behavior being somehow a "deviation" from the real (hetero) McCoy, he is
an idiot, and that would be, to put it mildly, in stark contrast to the
generally accepting attitudes toward same-sex behavior among most Native
Americans. Maybe Louis, who is more of an expert on Native American
matters than I, surely, knows more about that, and maybe the
non-Christian/Western condemnation of same-sex love didn't prevail among
Bolivian Indians.
As for "calming down," the whole episode was more amusing to me than
upsetting.
I had always thought that eating chicken was a way to cure androphilia.
