Arrested several times in Germany and came to Texas where his anti slavery and pro socialist editing and agitating had his family-10 children- run out of Texas. He gave the eulogy at the memorial for Marx in ny. The play is not about the douais. But other things a proto anthropologist and socialist might have been interested in.
