Nothing "blush" about Medoc. What were you drinking,... or smoking? The Haut-Medoc and Medoc are based on the "classic three" of Bordeaux, Cab Sauvignon, Cab Franc, and Merlot. The Haut-Medoc, and Graves are less "refined" than than the premier first growth old vines of some other territories, but with big, big structure, lots of tannins, and deep colors.
