It wasn't organized by the IAC, although as always when Al-Awda NY is involved in an event they provide valuable support. It was initiated by the Arab Muslim American Federation, a coalition of Brooklyn community groups, and co-organized by Al-Awda, as were the two earlier this week, on Monday and Tuesday. Three times now this week we (Al-Awda) have brought into the streets several hundred to a thousand people, mostly Arab, mostly young. That was the case too during the Gaza attacks last year. Two of the three marches featured large (but not the majority) representation from mostly white antiwar groups, which is an advance over last year. But the white left still has a long way to go on this. PS: Louis, sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello.
