Standard Oil refused to pay the tax, so 'Kingfish' ordered the National Guard to seize their oil fields in the Delta. At this point in time, in common with many corporations racketeering around the world today, BP has revealed itself to be at best incompetent, dishonest and feckless, and at worst negligent, malignant and criminal.
