Ever heard of someone being awarded a degree before taking their exams? Meet our very own Commander-in-Chief, the guy they gave the Nobel peace prize for doing didly-squat -- or should that be for carrying on with the Bush's imperialist wars! This guy is the black face of imperialism, and it really surprises me sometimes when people say they are disappointed with him. We were not sold a bill of goods; only the naive could have believed he was going to be of any good to ordinary folk in America or elsewhere. I was on holiday in Sierra Leone when he was elected. You should have seen some of my naive countrymen jubiliating. One said, "Why? You don'y look so happy about our victory." Our victory! Yeah, right. I was happy in a way, that a black man was going to be figurehead of the old Slavocracy. And that was the crux of the matter, the figurehead bit. He's just another frontman for capitalism, imperialism, the military industrial complex -- in short, everything that makes you want to scream and never stop screaming! I had no illusions about this guy, this new Hollywood celebrity without a movie to his name. But some part of me hoped that at the very least he would do something for the Palestinians. But he's sold them out too. See, I was naive too -- with all my "communist savvy!" A friend has a theory that he's been threatened by some extreme rightwing nut-group that they'll get him if he tries any pro-people stuff that goes beyond the cosmetic. Me? I tend to think he's just rotten to the core -- like anyone who becomes President through that con-game called bourgeois democracy in America's political duopoly. I mean this guy was handpicked by the system. Who ever heard of a black man becoming president of the U S of A! For that to be allowed to happen, he'd sure have to be one hell of a black man. Think about it. If Dubya hadn't had the distinction of being a mass murderer to boot, I would have ranked him above "our Barry." I may think different tomorrow, but that's my thinking right this minute. Yeah, am fuming, like "effing the guns of Navarone." Good night and good luck.
