So, it looks like steps have finally been taken to digitalize the Marx-Engels-Gesamtausgabe! The first few available texts online are, appropriately enough, from Abteilung II, "Das Kapital und Vorarbeiten" (Capital and preliminary works). Strangely, Vol. I is not available yet, but the texts that are available are: the Grundrisse, The Results of the Immediate Process of Production (no stranger to English-language readers of the Penguin edition, but in Germany it has never been part of the MEW Vol. 23 offered by Dietz Verlag, and only finally was issued in a separate book a couple of years ago), three versions of Vol. II (manuscripts, edited manuscripts, and Engels' published version), and Part 1 of the economic manuscripts of 1863-1867. ________________________________________________ Send list submissions to: Marxism@lists.econ.utah.edu Set your options at: http://lists.econ.utah.edu/mailman/options/marxism/archive%40mail-archive.com
