>As Marxist-Leninist's we must always remember that Marxism-Leninism is a
science based the dialectical method of understanding the world and events
taking
place. It is a grievous error to believe that methods, tactics, strategy,
etc. in Lenin's day is going to work in our day in the exact same manner.
Conditions have changed drastically and the essence of Marxism-Leninism is to
be
able to correctly apply dialectical methods to the ever new and changing
conditions. These new conditions have effected how capitalism has changed to
imperialism and concomitantly must adopt fascism in order to try and prevent
its
collapse as a decadent social system which means that it must protect its
weakening
position as a dominate social system. <

Happy New Years!

Communist workers and Marxists in the American Union have yet to make their
maximum contribution to our own working class movement, economic and social
justice and equality of the world masses. We have been plagued by a series of
historical errors on the theoretical level as well as practical policy.

It is true that industrial policy and socialism as formulated by Frederick
Engels and later under the banner of Lenin and the Third International no
longer
express the actual shape and self movement of the working class as a whole
and our proletariat in particular.

The October 1917 social revolution in Russia, whose political leadership was
won by communists remains a defining event in modern history. The social
revolution was a revolution in the mode of production within the framework of
the
transition from agriculture relations as the dominant societal relations to
industrial relations, with the property relations within. The brewing social
revolution is evolving within a framework that can be described as the ending
of
the industrial epoch and a transition to post industrial society.

SInce October 1917 the two sharpest features of the social movement in the
American Union has been that of the surge for industrial unionism, which peaked
in the post World War II era, alongside of in conjunction with the emerged of
the modern African American Liberation Movement. The African American
Liberation Movement galvanized the antiwar movement of the 1960s and was a
catalyst
for various identity movements and the environment for the realignment in the
social movement of women. Today the proletariat - the lowest and most poverty
stricken segment of our society, is female.

Old formula is useless. The movement for industrial unionism long ago peaked
and began its decay in front of the peaking of the industrial curve of our
development. To the degree that the social movement of the African Americans
was
indissolubly interactive with the mechanization of agriculture and the
destruction of classes expressing the specific shape of these relations - the
sharecropping system, it has competed this cycle of history. The National
Factor, as
it embraces the Mexican National, the Chicano, Indians, the Aleutian, Eskimo,
various "Asians," Puerto Rico, the deep South, Southwest and all dependencies
and direct colonies of the US State have entered a new era.

We are at least fifteen years into a new era (from the standpoint of the
changes in the development of the technological revolution and the last salient
features of the social struggle - the industrial form and the African American
Liberation movement as catalysts), and exploring "the undiscovered country."
(If ones framework is the collapse of Soviet power, its overthrown and the
overthrown of public property relations, the time framework does not shift.)

Communists in our country are charged with hammering out the specific theory,
ideology and doctrine of the Third American Revolution. Ideology is important
and here means understanding and mastering the language of the heart of the
peoples of the American Union. So-called "Marxist ideology" gets us in trouble
and strengthens the tendency to form organizations based on like minded
people, when it fact what is always needed are organizations that are
heterogeneous
driven by specific concrete goals. One can overthrow the Leninist form without
repudiating Leninism or Lenin's approach to what was in front of him.

There is an irreducible understanding within the population that "those who
can" must provide for and assist "those who can't." Reaction understands this
moral outlook and is outmaneuvering the progressives because we need to further
master the language of the heart, on the basis of how people think things
out.

The highest expression of Marxism-Leninism is being honest with ourselves and
fighting to shatter the various barriers, lies and dishonesty that reproduces
itself on the basis of lusting for profits and privilege at others expense.
"I am my brothers keeper" has to be fought for as an imperative of the state
and function of government.

Communism in the American Union is not going to look like the industrial
socialism of the Soviet era. American society was always in front of the
Soviets
in their industrial development and long ago began the leap - transition, to
post industrial society.

The fight is for the hearts and minds of the masses with a critical eye
towards that sector of the population thrown into open combat with the state.
