There is about as much chance of Kendi's proposal being adopted as the
DSA taking power. As for "cult-like nature", there is an important
debate taking place with people such as Matt Taibbi and Adolph Reed Jr.
speaking in the name of liberalism and Marxism respectively about the
need to get past "identity politics". For Taibbi, this has meant making
common cause with a member of the Intellectual Dark Web and for Reed to
demonize BLM in many articles. Max Power evidently identifies with their
campaigns but I only wish that he would elaborate on his beliefs. In
general, this forum is best used for longer comments than those on
social media otherwise it becomes a place for the kind of "gotcha"
exchanges that make Twitter so sterile.
