For the most glaring example of Red-Brown, you have to look at Unz Review (unz.com) from time to time. Ron Unz was at one time a major donor to CounterPunch and Norman Finkelstein, as well as having written a couple of unobjectionable articles for CP. After creating the Unz Review, he gradually turned it into what might be called the carriage trade version of the Daily Stormer, with the bulk of articles openly white supremacist, nativist, holocaust-denying and social Darwinist. He throws in articles by leftists, most of which seem to be anti-Zionist. I wonder why. Meanwhile, he ignores requests by some of these leftists to stop aggregating their articles, including Patrick Cockburn.
The only leftists, giving them benefit of a doubt, are Mike Whitney and CJ Hopkins who got the boot from CounterPunch just like Diana Johnstone. Untethered from CP, they have begun to adapt to Unz, writing vitriolic attacks on BLM and defending Trump from a "color revolution" led by George Soros.
