This reached into my small town last night.  As i sat chatting in my 
neighbour's yard a mutual acquaintance passed by.  He likes to drink beer and 
watch major league sports.  A likeable guy.  He was part of our neighbourhood 
noisemaking when that was happening.

He said, "Why can't they have a minute of silence and then drop the puck?"

I am glad to see sports figures doing this and i hope it prompts some 
reflection.
