Jack Lieberman just died from COVID-19 a couple of days ago. He was on
Marxmail years ago but was hardly the radical of his youth as this obit
tries to honor. He became a hard-core Zionist and Democratic Party
supporter sometime in the 80s. My respect for him is based on how and
his good friend Marty Goodman had the chutzpah to call out Jack Barnes
in 1980 or so over "the turn". It took a lot of guts to resist peer
pressure back then. I only wish I had half their nerve at the time.
