I guess there are few members of this list that harbour illusions about social democracy in general and the Swedish version in particular. But if there are, you might want to consider the fact that our Social Democratic government has swiftly been moving ever more closer to the US under the Trump administration. Not only do they out-Trump Trump on Covid 19, but whenever the US president denounces some third world leader in Venezuela, Ecuador etc, Swedish Social Democratic ministers are the first to chime in completely uncritically.
