Ah! The ghost of Irwin Silber rises every year or so! I just checked the
item in
Wikipedia and it focuses almost exclusively on his editorship of Sing
Out. Maybe
someone who remembers him primarily from his Guardian work (and remembers
the Guardian offices sheltered behind locked gates!) could update that
entry?
