The use of the word "WILL" in your post assumes that the people have no agency in this ---- As a high school student, I was "attracted" to existentialism --- which has as a message that it is essential to fight the battles THAT YOU KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE because ..... well, because, that's the only thing you can do ---- Surrender before the fight is a guarantee you will lose ---
