I think the critics of Chonsky's decision to participate in the conference
need to rethink that criticism --- It appears that the TATA corporation
realized that Noam's and Vijay's statements would have done more HARM to
them than the benefit of having such a well known and respected
international citizen appear ----

Had they participated, given what they were going to say, the result
PROBABLY (never can be sure of course) would have done more good (exposing
things about TATA) than harm (giving TATA "cover")
