It's a simple truth, however, that genocide--meaning the mass killing by direct or indirect means of members of a defined racial or national group for the purpose of excluding them from society--is a matter of national policy under Trump, however much he and other Republicans and Democrats lie about it. That's what all the fake outrage over "defunding the police" is about. Supreme Courts rule on the basis of ruling-class policy, stated or covert, not high-minded Theories of Law. If total extermination of the target group were the criterion for genocide, even the Nazis or Ataturk would be guiltless.
