this is another example of "bosses" having no real use for employees --- You would think that given the short term nature of the crisis caused by COVID that an institution with such a GIGANTIC endowment, like Harvard, could just continue to pay EVERYBODY --- the "loss" in even the base of the endowment would be chicken feed --- but they insist on squeezing every bit of "value" out of their employees as possible --- Truly disgusting --- unnecessary in terms of institutional survival --- and quite revealing ...
