I'd as soon have a debate with RKOB about COVID-19. Poor David somehow
cannot grasp why there are so few people on the left who have his
glow-in-the-dark obsessions. Back in the early 90s, when the first
Marxism list on the Internet got started, there were only three
supporters of nuclear energy we ran into. One was James Heartfield of
the British cult around Frank Furedi that also backed fox-hunting and
the right to smoke in restaurants. We also had Neue Einheit, a German
Maoist cult that when it wasn't stumping for nuclear power plants was
denouncing homosexuality as bourgeois decadence. And, then there was our
David trailing behind them.
