Louis, I find it odd that you do not regard a load of stuff quoted in the article, in which trans-identified males threaten to rape, maim, kill gender-critical women to not be "violent misogyny". Just part of legitimate political discussion? And, as the article points out, this is not rare. It is really common. Not really the language that comes out of a liberation movement. Btw, it is also increasingly common in Britain for a layer of the most misogynistic trans-identifying males to try to use the state - eg the cops - to intimidate and harass gender-critical women for expressing the view that males should not be allowed in spaces women fought for so they could participate in society more equally. The fact that a layer of left males having nothing to say about other males threatening violent assault, rape, murder etc against women is worrying. Male solidarity against women who believe they are entitled to female sports, female public toilets and changing rooms, gyms etc (ie the big majority of women). And the level of hatred for women and women's rights is way more pronounced than among the sexist defenders of the oppression of women back in the late 60s and early 70s. And, hardly surprisingly, we have increasingly had anti-gay bigotry from this layer as well. In a growing number of countries there are now LGB organisations forming to defend lesbian, gay and bisexual rights against the anti-gay bigotry of trans activists and their attempts to take over the "LGBTIQ+" groups. Meanwhile postmodern identity politics continue to over-run chunks of the left, articularly in the imperialist world. And, of course, run rampant in sections of the state, big universities, corporations etc. Happily, not among the working class, who regard the postmodern left as nutters.
